The EPLAB 296 Special is a PC button box inspired by a GT cockpit control layout. It provides 16 fixed-colour buttons, one rotary encoder for brake bias, four one-position momentary kill switches and one red aluminium start switch. The body is formed as a single piece, hand-finished and given a carbon-look hydrographic treatment. Its modular electronics allow an individual control to be replaced without changing the complete circuit assembly. A GX12 USB cable, mounting screws and the 296 Special unit are included. The device measures 290 × 266 × 78.2 mm.
