This motion simulator accessory also introduces the sensation of a third axis (heave). It unlocks new motion effects without additional hardware, offering a valuable simracing motion upgrade for new users of QS-210 or QS-220 actuators.

Compatibility note: QS-Pivot height is optimized for QS-210 actuators. It remains fully compatible with QS-220, however when QS-220 actuators are positioned at mid-stroke, the cockpit will sit at a slightly lower angle (mild tilt). Users who prefer a perfectly level reference position with QS-220 can add an additional aluminium profile spacer between the cockpit and the pivot frame.

REAR-MOUNTED PIVOT

The pivot is usually installed at the front of the rig, but it can also be mounted at the back with the actuators placed in the front. This setup changes the driving feel in an interesting way.

What you can expect in this configuration:

• feedback from the front axle feels more direct and intuitive,
• effects such as front wheel slip (slip angle) and ABS under braking become easier to sense,
• there is a stronger connection between what happens on screen and what you feel in the cockpit,
• the overall motion is a little softer, with less intensity from the rear.

Although this is not the default arrangement, it shows how flexible the system is and how easily it can be tuned to match personal driving style and preference.

Other operation modes, such as Performance or Q-MODE, are not supported in this configuration due to load distribution and dynamic constraints.
